Night of 1,000 Jack O'Lanterns features more than 1,000 illuminated classic jack o'lanterns as well as dozens of 100+ pound giant prizewinner pumpkins all hand-painted and carved by paid local artists! Night of 1,000 Jack O'Lanterns is a different kind of experience because all of the jack o'lanterns on the trail are carved by paid local artists using all real pumpkins!
We have a limited number of tickets available for each date and time. This way, we can ensure that your family has a great experience without a large crowd. Plus, we have a number of highly discounted tickets available so early ticket purchasers can enjoy a fun and affordable night out with the family in Westchester!
Night of 1,000 Jack O'Lanterns quickly sells out at our other locations in New York City, Chicago, and Los Angeles, so it's important that you get your tickets early! Advanced tickets are required and must be purchased on-line.
Night of 1,000 Jack O'Lanterns is brought to you by Peekskill-based RISE of the Jack O'Lanterns, a group of talented jack o'lantern artists who have designed and built world famous jack o'lantern experiences around the country since 2012.
WHAT'S HAPPENING AT WESTCHESTER'S
NIGHT of 1,000 JACK O'LANTERNS IN 2019
Night of 1,000 Jack O'Lanterns takes place in 2019 at the century-old, farmer-founded, Yorktown Grange fairgrounds in Westchester County. Upon arrival, visitors will head through our barn to check in before heading out on our 1/4 mile illuminated walking path on the same grounds where Westchester and Putnam farmers traded goods over a century ago.

INTRICATELY PAINTED & CARVED GIANTS You know those intricately carved 100+ pound pumpkins we're famous for? Expect 25% more on-trail this year! These ephemeral works of art are meticulously hand-painted and hand-carved by dozens of talented artists who put upwards of 20 hours of work into each pumpkin to make them perfect for your enjoyment! |

3D SCULPTED PUMPKINS We’re bringing in some of the top pumpkin sculptors in the country to carve a number of the most jaw-dropping externally-carved pumpkin sculptures you’ll ever see! |

THE CLASSICS, ELEVATED As part of our efforts to make our events more of immersive experiences, this year we're overhauling the way we display our classic jack o'lanterns! Previously, we've had thousands of jack o'lanterns on the ground, some as as much as 40-feet back from the walking path, causing most to be displayed too low and too far back to really appreciate. This year, we're changing all that. We're bringing most of our jacks within 6 feet of the trail and we're elevating them to various heights so they'll be at eye level or higher for our visitors. You'll feel truly immersed in a corridor of jack o'lanterns that seem to RISE up out of the ground! And, yes, they'll be close enough to touch, and please do! Just don't scratch or poke them - any abrasions cause them to rot quicker and we need them to stay alive for at least 5 days! |

MUSIC REIMAGINED We get quite a lot of compliments on the music you hear at The RISE each year. This year we're taking the sounds of the RISE to a new level. Expect to hear more songs you're familiar with but with a new Halloween twist to get you in the spirit of the season. |
